Call Center Independent 1099 Contractor (#MSU)

We're contracting WORK-FROM-HOME Independent contractors who can provide great customer service.

Compensation: Training $12.00/hr Production $13.20/hr. Get paid weekly!

Each CSR will be an independent contractor, working from home using their own computer equipment that meets the technical requirements outlined below. This is a virtual customer support opportunity.

Contractors must also be able to establish a designated work space, free from noise and distractions to handle incoming phone calls. 

Contractors will be responsible for answering incoming calls from clients. At any given point you may be needed to support via chat. Training will be provided on client information and systems used.  (Eligible for training pay!)

Responsibilities:

  • Strong desire to be helpful and take ownership and resolve customer situations 
  • Identify root cause of inquiries by asking probing questions to determine the best solution
  • Provided customer relationship management tool to research inquiries and document customer interactions
  • Receive and respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and text while updating internal computer applications and systems
  • Maintain required product knowledge to deliver best in class service 
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and bring enthusiasm to work each and every day 
  • Proven record of great attendance and demonstrating skills as a team player

Qualifications: 

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills, clear diction, tone and knowledge/use of proper grammar 
  • Ability to multitask by reading, typing, and navigating through applications while speaking with customers
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, management, and co-worker

  • Integrated or USB camera with 1080p resolution or higher.  Please note that camera models will vary.  Please make sure the cameras are compatible with Windows 10.  Available on Amazon or any other major retailer.

*Dual monitors may be required on some client programs

 

Minimum Software Requirements

Minimum Internet Connectivity Requirements

Standard Connection / Speed
  • Hard-wired connection (no wireless)
  • Minimum 25 Mpbs download / Minimum 6 Mpbs upload
  • Internet connection must not be shared with more than 3 devices in the same location
